This data was collected on January 30th, 2017 in a sandbox just east of the Phillips science building on the UWEC campus. Using a meter stick z (elevation data) was collected in cm with zero being flush with the top of the sandbox walls. This map, though not perfect in layout, includes many important features. It has a descriptive title that includes what is shown and where, a scale bar showing that the sandbox is a meter wide, a descriptive legend showing units, north arrows, and descriptions of the data with dates, and a watermark showing the name of the cartographer and date of creation. The map is shown below (Figure 1).

Part 2:
In this part maps were created using different attributes of data to label plots in the Hadleyville Cemetery. Four maps were made. These are year of death (shown in Figure 2), last name (Figure 3), if a grave is standing or not (Figure 4), and rankings of year of death (Figure 5). These maps use the same cartographic essential elements talked about in the first part of the assignment. Data was collected via a DJI Phantom 3 at 50 meters elevation.
